This advanced tennis clinic is designed for skilled players (3.5 rating and above) seeking to elevate their game. Through intensive drills, strategic match play analysis, and personalized feedback, participants will refine their technique, enhance court awareness, and develop advanced tactical strategies. This clinic provides a challenging and competitive environment for serious players aiming to reach their full potential.

Doubles Clinic for Men/Women, 3.0 – 4.0

Join us for a doubles clinic designed to sharpen your strategy. Whether you’re a seasoned doubles player or looking to take your game to the next level, this clinic will provide you with the tools and insights to dominate the court with quick stroke tips, drills, and point play to develop winning strokes and situational tactics. We will highlight court positioning, net play, and movement from baseline to net as we explore the intricacies of doubles play.

Live Ball for Men/Women, 3.5+ — must be ready and eager to run!

Our live ball clinic is designed to elevate your game and get your heart pumping. Expect fast-paced drills, intense rallies, and expert coaching. This is your chance to improve your speed, agility, and shot-making ability. Don’t miss out on this high-energy workout! Limited to 6 participants per session.

Lessons and Camps

*NEW!* Adult Learn to Play Camp: Our 6-week Adult Beginner Tennis program is the perfect introduction to this lifelong sport! Designed specifically for adults with little to no prior tennis experience, this program will take you from holding a racket for the first time to confidently hitting the ball and understanding the basics of the game.

Rackets are available for use — our Pro will help you find the racket that fits you! The program runs with a minimum of 3 participants and a max of 6.

Meets weekly on Mondays from 9:00am to 10:00am. $150 for a 6-week session.

#1: May 5 – June 9

#2: June 16 – July 21

#3: July 28 – September 1

#4: September 8 – October 6 – $120 for 5 weeks

Private lesson with Video Analysis (Dartfish software) (Dave Nostrant) “Bridge the gap between what you think you are doing and what you are actually doing.” Video your stroke with a split screen analysis alongside a pro.  Understand true fundamentals and what you are doing.  Learn the tips for efficient and effective practice on your own.  $100 hour includes a free personal stroke video lesson with an email link.

Dave Nostrant Tennis Camp (Dave Nostrant) [One of the Top 25 Best Tennis Camps in the World -Tennis Resorts Online] – This is Dave’s national camp (The Vic Braden Tennis College) that was in St. George, Utah, for many years.  People from all over the country attend this camp now held at ZCTC from May to October and in St. George, October to April. Video analysis of the forehand, backhand, and serve highlights the camp.  Other strokes covered are the return, volleys, approach, lob and overhead. Rare Air Sierra Sports Tennis Retreat – This will be the first ever Lake Tahoe Tennis Retreat to be held at the Zephyr Cove Tennis Club August 7-9, 2025. Only 24 adults will be accepted for this first camp. If you provide at least 2 weeks notice of a cancellation, we will provide you a full refund. Coach Phil Girardi of Treasure Island Florida will be joining teaching pros Bill Conway, Dave Nostrant, and Bob Beutenmiller to make this a very special event! Drop-In Match Play (starts June 3, 2025 and ends September 2, 2025)

Every Tuesday night from 6-9 p.m., the courts will be taken over by those wanting to focus on fun and social tennis. That’s not to say the score doesn’t matter, it’s just secondary in this case.
 
ZCTC organizers will set up matches with an eye toward pairing people with similar abilities, though some experience is required. Expect to play with a variety of people throughout the night.  The event is free to ZCTC members and $15 for non-members. 
 
The type of matches will depend on the participants — it could be the best of four games or a full set. It could be women’s, men’s, mixed doubles or any combination.
